A few weeks ago we had a church (
LDS) relief society activity. For the activity each woman offered up a service to be auctioned off. We auctioned off services like babysitting, cleaning a house, organizing a room. We did not use real money we used "service dollars." For the month of September you would keep track of the service you did and could earn "money" for it. The ward does it every year and we always have a really good time! It is also a great way to serve one another. I offered a family or portrait photo shoot. And sister Centatiempo was the highest bidder! Her daughter was visiting with her granddaughter and wanted to get pictures of all the grand kids before she left.
